What it's the deal with those things? Nevermind the fight I had on top of what I think was an unfinished game of jenga. I thought I was more likely to be killed by the place deciding to come to life and try to attack me than the vampire himself. And it wasn't even finished! I don't want to imagine what it's going to look like once it's done. Are we sure these are not part of some evil demon overlord scheme? I brought pictures. And shawarma. I left it all in the mess hall. The shawarma, not the pictures. I need some rest.

Los Angeles was kind of fun. Once you manage to calm people down and get them to come along quietly and stop hitting you with their purses like you're the strange one all you have to worry about is the vampires coming out to play. The vampires were jumpier than usual too. Something about draining someone to death and then watching them rise without being turned freaked them out. Go figure.

I also met someone that claimed to know me, or rather, knew my parents. My vampire parents. I'm still not sure I want to hear what he has to say.
